Disney’s ‘Christopher Robin’ also gets a teaser

Deja-Vu, anyone?

After Mary Poppins Returns, Disney has dropped another trailer, this time for Christopher Robin.

Differently, from last year’s Goodbye Christopher Robin, which was a biopic about Pooh’s creator A.A. Milne, the Marc Forster film is a sequel to the original stories, in which a grown-up Christopher encounters his childhood friend Pooh.

Just for the record, Christopher Robin’s character is indeed based off A.A. Milne’s own sun, Christoper Robin Milne. I’m just saying this because it could be confusing for some.

Here’s the synopsis according to IMDb:

An adult Christopher Robin, who is now focused on his new life, work, and family, suddenly meets his old friend Winnie the Pooh, who returns to his unforgotten childhood past to help him return to the Hundred Acre Wood and help find Pooh’s lost friends.

Directed by Marc Forster, the film stars Ewan McGregor in the title role, Hayley Atwell, and Mark Gatiss. The voices of the 100 Acres Forest friends will be provided by Jim Cummings (Pooh), Toby Jones, Chris O’Dowd, and Peter Capaldi.
